Spring/Summer Tweed & Bouclé Ideas: Chanel Inspiration

Each season we can’t help but draw a great amount of inspiration from Karl Lagerfeld and his iconic Chanel shows and genius set-designs. His Spring/Summer 2016 Couture show went back to basics in an eco-friendly manner – both literally and figuratively.

Aside from the debut of feathered bees, wooden birds and crystal dragonflies on the runway, Karl Lagerfeld ran with a beige and natural colour scheme throughout. Wooden beading, 3D frills and organic woven yarns of thse technical and sustainable peices graced the runway.
