Spring/Summer 2019, according to Victoria Beckham

Spring/Summer ’19 is a chic and feminine, but practical, affair, according to Victoria Beckham, who unveiled her 10th anniversary collection at London Fashion Week on Sunday to an assembly of fashion industry peers, celebrity guests…and her entire family.

Harper, Cruz, Romeo, Brooklyn and David Beckham proudly looked on as mummy V took her audience on a journey through delicate shirts and drapey knits and silks, taffeta trench coats and pretty, polished satins. Luxurious pieces with flattering lines, that remain wearable and accessible for modern women.

There were the usual sleek black looks, elegant tailoring and slightly masculine cuts combined with flowy, feminine shapes.  Belted, defined waists and sheer, floaty tops, peeps of lace and a smattering of prints. The colour palette was largely creams, blacks and whites, with pops of camel and khaki, bold red, bright baby blue and terracotta. Victoria Beckham knows style, and her vision for 2019 is an appealing foray into functional elegance. For ladies who want to look smart and stylish as they go about their day, take a leaf out of VB's book. She's got it sorted.
